Check it out, we are now publishing lots of WordPress.com stats for anyone who is interested in how many signups, page views, new posts, embeds, etc we’re getting. I’d love to see other blogging services and web sites publish this kind of data (LiveJournal is the only one I know of that has been publishing some stats). It would help debug and normalize the wildly fluctuating and inconsistent numbers form external services like Alexa and ComScore.

How about making the raw data available, perhaps by posting it to Swivel.com? Then we could stalk those key relationships between, say, wp.com signups and the price of oil, or peanut consumption, or…
